TOKNAR

The word Toknar in the Aymara language meaning Stone, fully illustrates the power of purity of this Petit Verdot and its origin in a stoney (granitic) vineyard on the slopes of a hill. Opaque ruby. Seductively perfumed, smoke-accented aromas of cherry, blackcurrant, Indian spices and violet, along with a strong black cardamom quality. Bright and tangy on entry, then ripe and sweet in the mid-palate, with impressive energy to its medicinal cherry and dark berry flavors. Lively on the bright, persistent finish, which features lingering floral and mineral nuances.
